We just spent a fun few days with Uncle Tim and his girlfriend, Julia. They flew in from Baltimore on Easter morning, and we all enjoyed their visit. We loved meeting Julia (Adrienne was quoted many times saying, "I love my Julia" and Jillian...well, she proclaimed "It's so great to have a new aunt!" No pressure, Uncle Tim :) )
After Easter brunch the girls finally were allowed to open their Easter baskets.
They also got some fun gifts from Tim and Julia, and Grandma and Pop Pop sent some, too. The girls thought the cards were hilarious.
We all snuggled in for a movie in the afternoon. Uncle Tim had no shortage of snuggle buddies.
On Monday we decided to make a quick trip to the Cities while Jillian was in school. First stop: The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. One of our favorite spots. It was cold and drizzly, and we stopped at Dunn Bros before arriving. Adrienne of course ordered her usual: hot chocolate. Her outfit was kind of amusing to me...a little reminiscent of Rocky...kind of felt like shouting, "Yo, Adrienne!"

Second stop: Surly! We had a fabulous lunch and delicious beer (as expected) at the new Surly spot. Highly recommend.
On Tuesday, we had the morning kid-free. Matt took Tim around the Clinic and showed him some sights, while Julia and I did a little shopping and then enjoyed pedicures. We had a big fat burger and introduced Julia to the wonders of fried cheese curds at Newt's for lunch, and then we enjoyed a date night at a couple of our other favorite spots: The Taphouse and Chester's.
On Wednesday, we loaded up and spent the day at the MOA. We got home in time to make some wild rice soup for dinner, and then we stayed up wayyyyyyy too late playing games. The game of the week over here is Camel Up. Seriously fun.
On Thursday we enjoyed an early sushi lunch before Matt took them to the airport. We loved, loved, loved our time with them and hope they come back soon!!
