Halloween

We had fun celebrating Halloween with Sofia The First and Molly, the Bubble Guppy!

Molly. Adrienne is obsessed with the Bubble Guppies and Molly is her favorite character. Usually when we do her hair in the morning, she tips her head back and tries to make it long while she says, "Mom, give me Molly hair". Today she had some real 'Molly hair'!

Ready to trick or treat!

Since it's almost always cold on Halloween, we live in the country with no streetlights, and the kids are small, trick-or-treating at the mall remains the best way to go for us. Matt was home for the first time in 3 years for trick or treating, so our King came along with us.

This was A's first official time trick or treating (not in a stroller) and she was hilarious. The pink wig kept me giggling.

The inspiration for Adrienne's costume. She did not appreciate people calling her "a mermaid" or "the little mermaid" as we walked through the mall. She spoke right up with "I'm NOT a mermaid, I'm a guppy!!"




We picked up dinner on the way home, and then answered the door for the handful of trick or treaters that came by. Matt took Jillian around our cul-de-sac so she had the experience of outdoor trick or treating. Good time was had by all!
