Brave

My conversation with Jillian at 6 a.m. (snuggled in my bed as Matt was showering for work)

J: "Mom, are you brave of everything in the world?"
Me: (giggling at her use of 'brave' in relation to being "scared of" something) "Ummmm...no, I'm not. Are you?"
J: "Yes"
Me: "That's great you are so brave"
J: "Well, actually I think I am only brave of everything in this house"
Me: "That's a lot of things. It's good to be brave, but you don't have to be 'brave of' everything"
J: "I'm not brave of dinosaurs"
Me: "Well, I'm not 'brave of' sharks"
J: "But I'm real brave of turtles!"
