Thanksgiving was a few short days after we returned from Hawaii We hosted the Tauntons and Grandma and Pop Pop. I was so grateful that Michael agreed to smoke the turkey for me!

Matt worked on Friday, then we had the weekend together. We decided to go get our tree on Sunday. We went with a more reasonable 9 1/2 foot tree this year. It did not cause as much drama as the 11 footer did last year.
After the tree farm, we hit Menard's for some more lights. Matt said the girls should pick out some more decorations. So...I now have a large LED igloo with penguins in my upstairs office and a large Christmas village with lots of fake snow on my hutch. Sigh. I am often outnumbered 3 to 1 where things like these are concerned!
