Matt was invited to speak at the Disney conference again, so we took off for our 4th annual trip! I keep telling the girls it isn't normal to go to Disney 4 years in a row, and that they really need to appreciate this. We had an early flight, so we left the house at 4 and made it on our plane by 6:30. Whew.
We decided to not rent a car this time, so we hopped in a cab from the airport and headed to the Four Seasons Resort.

Upon arrival to our room, the girls each had a little package complete with robe and wand. Spoiled.
We quickly changed into suits and went back to the pool where the girls went around the lazy river a million times while Matt and I read/chatted/listened to podcasts.
I thought a poolside drink was in order.

That night we went up to the Spanish steakhouse on the 17th floor. Waiting for our table.
I ordered a gin and tonic at dinner, and it came out as the most beautiful drink I've ever seen.
Jillian woke up the next morning as a 9 year old! I brought along a couple small gifts for her to open (new book and a reading light)
She chose Animal Kingdom for the day, so off we went. We spent most of the morning waiting in line at Pandora for the Avatar ride. It was pretty amazing, but intense. Adrienne was the only one of us who made it through the ride with her 3 D glasses on and eyes opened. The rest of us had to either close eyes or remove glasses to avoid motion sickness!
The safari is always a favorite. The giraffe were quite present this year.
When we grabbed lunch the worker behind the counter saw Jillian's birthday button and asked if they could sing to her. Jillian meekly agreed, but wasn't expecting the lady to shout and invite EVERYONE in the entire restaurant to join her!

We opted for a birthday dessert back at the hotel. They have great gelato, and the ladies were sweet to pimp out J's cone!
And then we got upstairs to our room and discovered the hotel had sent her a cupcake. No shortage of sugar!
Ending her birthday with a soak in the tub, gelato, and watching cartoons on the bathroom TV. Not sure how it gets much better than that.
Matt was speaking at the conference on Monday morning, so we spent the time hanging out with Julie. We had breakfast, girls did homework and we played outside at the game tables. Was too cold to swim!
We spent the afternoon/evening at Magic Kingdom. The girls were beyond delighted to "drive" Matt and I around the race track ride.

On Tuesday morning Adrienne lost a tooth! It is mildly creepy to us that Jillian lost this same tooth, at this same resort, on this same trip two years ago!
It was Halloween so we put on our emoji "costumes" and headed to Epcot. I don't know how it's possible that I didn't take pictures that day. We had our best day of the trip, as the girls were fascinated with the kid passport program. We went around to 12 countries so they could get their passports stamped by someone from that country, and they got a little message and their names written in that language. Their favorite country was Morocco, and Jillian especially loved the beautiful Arabic writing. Matt and I were able to enjoy lots of treats from the Epcot Food and Wine Festival as we walked through the countries.
It was a fun, fast, and furious trip!
