Great Grandma Helen isn't the only one who came to visit us earlier this month--Grandpa Bennie, Uncle Kent and Aunt Diana came too--but the purpose of the visit was so that Grandma Helen could have some clinic appointments to help ease her back pain (which they did!).
Grandma Helen and Grandpa Bennie arrived on Saturday afternoon. After dinner, the girls convinced me to take them to Flapdoodles with Grandma Helen.
On Sunday, Grandma came to church with us and then we met Di and Kent, Daddy, and Grandpa at Chester's for brunch. Then we came back to our house to just hang out for the day. Di and Kent brought some very fun masks for the girls to enjoy.
Adrienne loved to try and scare Grandpa with hers....she is such a goofball.
While the boys took a trip to Scheels, we baked Uncle Kent a birthday cake and had a little surprise celebration for him.
Adrienne rose early each day and went into Grandma's room. They snuggled in the chair and read for a bit while the house was quiet...sweet memories for both of them, I'm sure.
