Coming Home

I will never forget the special events surrounding Adrienne's homecoming, and I have my dear friend Shannon to thank for that. Shannon was my roommate in OT school, and though we hadn't seen each other since Jillian's baby shower nearly 3 years ago, we picked right up where we left off when she arrived at the hospital the day after Adrienne was born. Shannon selflessly left her husband and 3 children at home at a moment's notice, and drove over 400 miles to document Adrienne's homecoming. She is an incredibly talented photographer, and was eager to share her gifts with us in this way. Her presence was such an immeasurable blessing. She played with Jillian, helped Mom at home, cooked us a wonderful meal, and stayed up with A from midnight-3 a.m. so I could get some rest. All of this on top of her amazing photography. She is a true gem.

Thank you, Shannon, we all love you!
