From The Backseat....

Between a Target run and preschool drop off this morning, came and inquiry from Jillian: "Mom. I have a question. How does a baby get in your tummy?" For real? What is it about kids that makes them ask this question without any prompting? We were not speaking of babies (no, there isn't one in MY tummy, thankyouverymuch), or pregnancy, or anything. So, I quickly just flipped it around on her. "Ummmmmmmmm.............(buying myself some time)....ummmm.....well, how do you think it gets there?" I sat sweating for a few seconds, and then she answered, "God puts it there". Huge sigh of relief from me as I confirmed, "You are exactly right!"
